Steve Rubinstein

Director of Coaches / 2010 Co-ed Coach

I coach because I love the game.

I love watching kids gain confidence and skills and friendships through soccer.

I love watching them fall in love with the game too and the role it can play in their lives.

I coach because I had great coaches who taught me to love the game.

I coach because when I was twelve and obsessed with Pele I was lucky enough to attend a soccer camp featuring Pele and Beckenbauer and Chinaglia. We had training every day to learn from them. We spent each evening laying on the floor of the dorms listening to them play guitar and sing songs on the floor above us. For anyone who has seen Ted Lasso, we learned that "soccer is life!"

Caesar Marciales

2008 Girls Coach

I began my soccer journey at a young age, joining competitive teams by the age of 12 and playing with the U-19 Santos team until 17. With 15 years of coaching experience in youth and high school soccer, I am deeply passionate about player development and improvement. I find great satisfaction in watching players’ skills and athleticism grow, and I enjoy the challenge of uniting diverse personalities to achieve common goals. I believe the lessons learned on the soccer field extend far beyond the game, equipping players with valuable skills for life.
